Wilhaggin Del Dayo Neighborhood Association
Thank you for your interest in the Wilhaggin Del Dayo Neighborhood Association, a group of neighbors who work together to promote safety and security in our community.
WDDNA is a nonprofit organization run by member volunteers. Our neighborhood flanks Sacramento’s beautiful American River and spans the area south of Fair Oaks Boulevard roughly between Watt Avenue and Arden Way.
Our sole purpose is to enhance and protect the safety and security of our neighborhood’s residents and property. To do this, we collect member dues and use these funds to contract with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department to provide off-duty armed officers in marked vehicles to patrol our streets. As a result of these special patrols, our area is rated among the safest in the county.
Member Benefits
Daily Patrols
Dues paid by our more than 1,000 member households support daily patrols by experienced off-duty Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department deputies. They patrol armed and in full uniform, driving department vehicles. They also will perform free checks of your home while you are away on vacation. For more information about our patrols, CLICK HERE.
Newsletter & Reports
Each month we distribute an email newsletter to all members with valuable information about local security issues and to help you protect your home, your property and your family. In addition, twice each month, members receive a summary of the day-by-day reports filed by our patrol deputies. And when the need arises, we distribute special email alerts about immediate security concerns. Join WWDNA to receive the monthly newsletter and patrol reports.
Safety Advocacy
Our association and its volunteer members strive to communicate and work with county officials about safety issues affecting our neighborhood. In addition, we provide members with information about effective measures they can take to protect themselves and their homes. Join WDDNA to receive safety tips.
